PARKING & TRANSPORT

Parking and public transport

Members carpark

Access from Smith Street for free parking. There is a subway (with stairs) from the Members carpark to within the grounds of Caulfield racecourse. This avoids the need to cross Station Street. If tickets are required, turn left towards the ticket booth at Gate 23. If this park is full, attendees will be directed to the Kambrook / Maple carpark for free parking at Gate 2.

Guineas carpark

Paid public parking, for use if Members and Kambrook / Maple carparks are full and is located on Station Street opposite Caulfield Station.
Caulfield racecourse is also approachable by train, tram and bus public transport, and taxi. For further details visit the PTV website.

Getting to the Exhibition

See the MAPS page for maps of the City and Exhibition venue

There are very regular trains from the city to Caulfield Racecourse. Free car-parking is available at the course.
The trip by train is approx 15 mins, or car(depending on traffic)  approx 25 mins.

Train

The nearest station to Exhibition hotels is Southern Cross (near the corner of Spencer and Collins streets). Frankston, Dandenong, Cranbourne and Pakenham lines depart regularly from Southern Cross & Flinders Street to Caulfield Station which is located directly opposite the Exhibition. Additional services are provided during peak times. See https://www.ptv.vic.gov.au/ for full details.

Train Tickets

All Melbourne public transport including trams, buses and trains requires a MYKI card which must be purchased and topped up with cash. Cards and top-up are available at railway stations or at the many 7-Eleven stores in Melbourne. Your card can be used on all trams, public buses and local trains. See https://www.ptv.vic.gov.au/tickets/myki/  for more information.
