M2017 needs help in numerous jobs, both at bump-in and the 4 days of the show.
Can you spare some time and help us?
A minimum of 2 sessions will be required on the actual show days.
A entrance ticket for each day you work a shift will be provided.
Areas that will need to have volunteered staffing are as follows –
· Ticketing windows (on-the-job training will be provided in the use of an EFTPOS machine)
· Front of House (Entrance and Queuing particularly early in the morning)
· Ticket Collection and Pass Out (scanning of season and pre-purchased tickets and removal of stubs from day tickets)
· APF Store & M2017 Souvenirs
· Patron/Supporter/Exhibitor Lounge
· Adult/Youth and Literature Area
· Security Gate (Emergency Exit)

There will be 2 meeting rooms available over the 4 days of the show.
Meetings for organisations can be booked for between 1 hour to 4hrs.
The venue opens at 10:00am each day, meetings can commence from 10:15am.
IMPORTANT: Most rooms have now been booked. See the Meetings Page for the latest meeting schedule.
As the meeting rooms must be purpose built and therefore are a cost the exhibition, it is required that a prize be donated or a Supporter’s pack be purchased for each 1 hr meeting.

FIP Recognition granted
Melbourne 2017 now has FIP recognition for all entries (15/7/2016)
A Special feature of MELBOURNE 2017, is a non-competitive exhibition involving at least 200 frames for members of the Royal Philatelic Society of Victoria. The occasion marks the Society’s 125th Anniversary and continues a traditional of non-competitive exhibits for the RPSV’s centenary (1992)and 75th anniversary (1967).
Frame fees: $A40.00 per frame.
No of frames: 1 to 8 frames.
If space allows a member may apply for more than 1 non-competitive exhibit.
